Concept
A black hole, a concept both terrifying and fascinating. It's an immensely dense and heavy entity, so powerful that not even light can escape its gravitational pull. Yet, despite being invisible, we know it exists out there, perhaps in the millions or billions, who knows? I'm intrigued to explore its meaning, its essence, and unravel its emotional significance. Is it a gateway to another world, another universe? The possibilities seem boundless, ranging from unscientific and emotional musings to highly rational and believable theories.
I crafted an installation, engaging with sculpture, sound design, 3D modeling, and laser cutting. My aim was to delve into the enigma of a black hole, envisioning a non-destructive experience of what it might feel like to exist within that celestial void. The essence of my creation lies in the soundscape that embodies my black hole – a captivating experience where sound is trapped, filtered, and distorted, inviting you to step inside to immerse yourself in its mesmerizing embrace.
